A fantastic ferry ride with great views, temples, beaches, no cars! and ancient rock carvings - this is Cheung Chau.
I have mentioned and posted a few times about Cheung Chau Island - a visit on a sunny day during the week is simply a must do.
Take the slow ferry, get a deluxe ticket and sit out in the sun on the top deck for the 55 minute ride, sit back and enjoy the views.. on the island simply wander around, visit temples, visit the beach and the ancient rock carving (!) and keep an eye out for the devil dogs (hell hounds!) and do not forget to try the egg puffs (waffles).
