Cultural Tourism Hong Kong | Private Tutor Groups in Hong Kong

A fabulously descriptive car number plate, a huge container ship and the rather awful Rainbow Hotel in Jordan District

More like soap opera actors than Private Tutors

Private Tutor Groups are big business in Hong Kong.. the article (see link above) was from a couple of years ago but is valid today and in fact the situation for parents has gotten worse... You can read the serious commentary in the article, from my perspective I just love the Keith Leung advert.

Generally the "tutors" on offer look like movie stars / rock stars in other words like Daniel and Antonia, it is very refreshing to see Keith Leung as he fits the profile of a serious academic teacher (and yes, I still think he looks like a plonker), I have been told many times that the kids here choose their "tutor" based on how cool they look so I am now wondering if the new trend is picking a dorky tutor who may well have some teaching skills?

Only in Hong Kong.

I have to say that this is the 2nd best number plate I have seen yet (666 is still my favourite) and yes, it was a rather stunning young lady driving the car.

We encountered this monster on the way back to Central from Cheung Chau on the slow ferry.

This "new' Hotel is over the road from the Novotel Hotel in Jordan in Kowloon, the location is brilliant but I fear this may not be enough.

It took me a while to realise that this overworked restaurant worker was fast asleep.
