Eu Yan Sang, a Hong Kong legend, a lovely house up near the Peak and custom car number plates get dafter every year
113 years old and still going strong
Finding old colonial places in Hong Kong is getting harder by the year but you know all is well with the world when the Kowloon Bowling Green Club just keeps on going.
Located in Cox's Road in TST, Kowloon it is located right next to another institution, the Kowloon Cricket Club, the area is very peaceful yet is only 2 minutes walk from the madhouse that is Nathan Road.
Eu Yan Sang's somewhat bizarre window display
Eu Yan Sang is a long established company in Hong Kong selling traditional Chinese medicine and I still like to walk past their shop on Queens Road Central on the Island just to look at this somewhat bizarre window display, I have no idea what it all means but it does stop you in your tracks which I guess is the point but it is not going to entice me in to buy some dried tiger penis or the like!
This house is much more to my taste
This absolutely gorgeous house is located near Barker Road on the way to the Peak and I can only imagine the superb views it has, if I was a multi gazillionaire I would certainly make an offer, it would make a great weekend getaway!
Just a bit daft
Custom car number plates are de rigeur here but if I was going to spend a load of money on one I would be just a little bit more creative or eccentric... I am also not really a fan of yellow for a Ferrari, it just looks so much better in red.
making dim sum
I do love good dim sum and I have to say that the more expensive restaurants take great care in preparing the dishes and they just seem to taste better.
