Hong Kong voodoo (really), it really is a tough life here and Victoria's Secret comes to Hong Kong
We still eat snakes in Hong Kong, their gall bladder is used to make gall bladder wine and I kid you not, a snakes gall bladder can cure excess snot and a sore throat which is of little comfort to the snake... oh and I have tried snake soup and yes, snake tastes like rubbery chicken and did I mention that a liberal serving of snake wine is a cure for excess farting.
I will be revisiting this place as I did not have time to stop.. this is a grubby spot under the Canal Road flyover in Causeway Bay and for a price (around HK$40) these ladies will cast a spell on your enemies.. so voodoo Hong Kong style and given the crowds at one of the "witches" stall there is no shortage of people here wanting to get even with their enemies, real or imagined.
It also helps if you get the old bag to cast a good spell on you to counteract the evil spell being put on you at the next stall.
I felt very sorry for this chap taking a break from his job, the look on his face when he looked up was tragic, this was not a happy person.
This newly opened boutique in IFC Mall in Central was certainly attracting the crowds and I have to say the product lines on display did not match the rather racy image in my head.... it seemed to be more about cosmetics than lovely underwear.
I spotted the odd looking ship in the background from my balcony ( we have a rather splendid view) at a guess I would say that it lays very large cables on the seabed.
