KMB - celebrating 80 years of serving Hong Kong with buses!, the Hullett House Hotel in TST Kowloon and enjoying a great harbour tour on the Aqua Luna
Due to out of control queues I rarely ride the Peak Tram these days, invariably I take a taxi to the Peak and if possible I come down on the Tram which is much more exciting! it is a real shame but I feel it is pointless to queue for 1 - 2 hours for an 8 minute ride. .. all that pushing and shoving in the queue drives me bonkers anyway.
I came across the special 80th anniversary KMB bus yesterday. KMB has been operating a bus service (mainly in Kowloon) for the past 80 years and they have done a terrific job, I ride a KMB bus pretty much everyday.
KMB is a key player in our fabulous public transport system and they deserve every plaudit coming their way.
Located next to Canton Road and very close to the Star Ferry in Kowloon, the Hullett House Hotel is worth exploring, it is much bigger than the image suggests and bear in mind there are very few Colonial style buildings left in Hong Kong.
In my humble opinion the Aqua Luna with it's distinctive red sails is the ONLY harbour tour worth taking.. it is pretty cool.
281 sqft of livable space is yours for just over US$1 million, this is beyond stupid.
