Hong Kong Cultural Tour | The Hong Kong Funeral Home

The Hong Kong version of Voodoo, the snake guy doing his thing and riding the trams.

This is one of those subjects everyone is curious about but is not a subject for discussion. I had a client the other day who is a Funeral Home Director in the USA, hence the subject matter and images.

The Hong Kong Voodoo ladies!

If you go to the Canal Road Flyover in Causeway Bay (5 minutes walk from Times Square) you will see 3/4 ladies performing rather bizarre rituals which in essence is you paying them to put a curse on your enemies! Charming.

If you get the chance to go to one of our few remaining snake shops you will witness a quite brutal sequence of events which ends in the untimely demise of a cobra / king cobra.

The three images above show the first step, the removal of the fangs/poison sacs,... not quite a job that has excellent career prospects.

When you are here, ride a tram (Hong Kong Island only)

One Peking and the Langham Hotel, Peking Road in TST, Kowloon

A new Cityflyer bus, a cheap way to get to/from the airport to your Hotel (a lot less hassle if you take a cab!)

A random old building in North Point on Hong Kong Island
