5 car models in HK that I really, really, dislike

I am a car fanatic, have been since I was a kid and as such I do not limit myself to supercars and hypercars, some of my favourite cars would surprise you ( and will appear in another post ) but I will admit there are some car brands | models that make me grind my teeth and wish I owned one of those car junk yards with big crushing machines…… I mean, some of them are so hideous you wonder what exactly was the thought process?

I mean no offence to the owners of these models, it is simply my personal opinion.

Smart - TX 9854

Oh my golly gosh.

The Smart car is an abomination, it is utterly hideous and has about the same appeal to me as riding a geriatric donkey.

I would hate to be in this thing if it is in a collision with one of our 118,000 large trucks in Hong Kong and I have seen a few Smart cars that were total wrecks after a collision with rabbits.

Incredibly they are a cult car in Hong Kong because the female Hong Konger has a thing for cute things and this fits the bill, cheap, reliable, cute color schemes, cute design, easy to park, small and I imagine cheap to insure but if you are a bloke caught driving one of these things then you have zero street cred and you become the laughing stock of car owners here, that is what I want to believe but the sad truth is, if that bloke turns up for a first date in this monstrosity it will be love at first sight.

My worst nightmare a Smart Car with a Hello Kitty pink and white wrap.

My motto is never trust a car that can be destroyed by a collision with a rabbit.

Porsche - CW 518

I am a Porsche fanatic and have been since I was 10 years old, I have over 9,000 images of Porsche but Porsche over the years has produced a few models that in my eyes are simply horrid… the 924, the 928 and my all time Porsche horror story, the Boxster as seen in the image.

I have hated it since I first clapped eyes on it and I still hate it even though the current Boxter 718 is much improved design wise, I guess Porsche see it as an entry level model but boy the design sucks, big time… I hate this as much as I love the Porsche Turbo S and Porsche GT 3 RS.

BMW - BR 916

I could use the same comments I used for Porsche for BMW as well, I am big Bimmer fan, again over 9,000 images and the M2, M3 and M5 are simply superb.

The i3 shown in the image is not superb, I actually had to think which car I hated the most, the Smart car or the BMW i3 and naturally the car is an electric car that creeps up on you, performance is not great, the car just looks silly.

It actually looks like a toy car or the sort of car you see in a Pixar kids movie - I mean nothing seems to fit or flow….. every year the design improves slightly but not enough to make me change my opinion, I honestly find it hard to believe that this is the same company that produces the world class iconic sports cars, the M2, M3 and M5

Toyota - TU 2898

I like most Toyota cars.

But not this, the Prius is simply ghastly no matter how much owners try and tart them up and it brings out the worst in me. enough said.

Citroen - UX 7264

French cars…. what can I say… the Bugatti is French and as cars go is right up there in the most jaw dropping hypercar stakes but at the lower level Citroen produce a number of models that make a decaying stuffed donkey on wheels look appealing.

My old man has owned Renault’s and Citroen’s and they are the reverse of Porsche and BMW, they produce a long list of lemons with the odd fabulous car!

This particular model is horrid and what exactly is the purpose of that rubber type material on the doors?
