J3 Private Tours Hong Kong | Pagani Cars | The Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong
I am a huge fan of the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, it is a truly remarkable Hotel and I am in the Hotel almost on a daily basis.
Sir Michael Kadoorie is the the Chairman of Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels the owner of the Peninsula Hotel Group and you have to admire him and his taste, particularly when it comes to lobby displays and such., naturally if I was worth over US$8 Billion like Sir Michael I would also have impeccable taste as well.
As mentioned below, the Fernando Botero Black Chicken.
Recently in the lobby of the Peninsula Hotel was a black chicken about 8 feet tall by Fernando Botero the Columbian artist, jolly nice it was as well and Botero art is on the walls around the lobby and reception area.
Imagine my surprise on November 16th 2018 when outside the Hotel, parked, where 3 cars from the Italian hypercar maker Pagani.
These are not normal cars, these are hypercars and the one in the middle is the Pagani Huayra BC which would cost close to US$4 million in Hong Kong, I have to say I almost cried tears of joy as that Pagani is one of only 20 made.
We ogled the cars for about 10 minutes taking lots of images and then into the lobby we went where we came across another Pagani Huayra.

So I doff my hat to Sir Michael Kadoorie who has fantastic taste and continues to impress and astound locals and visitors alike to the Peninsula Hotel, you just never know what is going to be in the lobby next.
Oh my golly gosh, the simply amazing Pagani Zonda Absolute - this is a custom made car and is rumoured to be the only one of it's kind in the world and it is in Hong Kong!... oh... and yes, this is my picture, talk about being in the right place at the right time.
