Crabs, chickens, body parts of unknown animals - a typical local Hong Kong restaurant

The almost mythical Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe with the number 4 license place, the Nan Lian Garden has undergone a facelift and the President and Vice President of the Hong Kong Misery Society make a day of it....

A fairly common sight around Hong Kong but for a lad from Middlesbrough a tad to exotic - I have never been a fan of this sort of food, one of the reasons I do not do food tours.. now if I could get away with doing a STEAK food tour then I am your man!

4 means death here so I am often amused when I see this car (amused twice as I have only seen this mythical car twice!) with the rather extraordinarily expensive no. 4 license plate... my, it is a lovely car, a quite rare Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. - go here for all my images of car number plates in Hong Kong, roughly 5,900 of them!

The gold pagoda and red (!) bridge recently underwent a 6 month face lift at the Nan Lian Garden attached to the Chi Lin Nunnery in Diamond Hill.... quite lovely. - go here for all my Nan Lian Garden images.

We have a misery index in Hong Kong as it is a well know fact that Hong Konger's are some of the most miserable people on the planet.. have a look at these two chaps in this gorgeous and very expensive Mercedes Benz S500, obviously this is the President and Vice President of the Hong Society of Miserable People, if it was me in this very nice car I would be pretty darn happy- go here for all of my Mercedes Benz Car images in Hong Kong.

I firmly believe that the MTR in Hong Kong is the best "underground / subway" system in the world, it is truly impressive. - go here for all of my MTR images

I do private walking tours around Hong Kong, I am on the streets every day and I have a somewhat interesting perspective of this wonderful city I have called my home for 39 years. My private walking tours are perfect for visitors who want a detailed overview of Hong Kong prior to exploring on their own and for people who are only here for a day or two who want to make the most of their limited time here.

Many clients book me for their first full day in Hong Kong, they get to see the best that Hong Kong has to offer + a crash course on our wonderful public transport system and then they go exploring for the rest of their stay armed with step by step instructions and recommendations from me....

I am available at very short notice, I get many last minute bookings and may well be available even if you arrive in Hong Kong without making plans! so please check my calendar, simply send me a message for a prompt reply.

I also offer a candid and very personal view of what it is like to live in Hong Kong for 4 decades.

...oh, and if you book a tour then you are booking a tour with me, I do not employ other guides, so explore this great city with one of the best tour guides in Hong Kong.

All images taken with a Sony RX 1r camera - it produces amazing images!
