The moron dressed as Captain America inciting riots in HK

JJ Rocks, a great car number plate applicable to my oldest son, a large stick insect menaces anything that stands in it's path and why you should not eat at the Temple Street Night Market

The moron dressed as Captain America inciting riots in Hong Kong

"Captain America stands for more than just the United States. He stands for doing the right thing. He stands for being the hero. In a day and age where so many people have become disenfranchised with America and the American dream, Captain America still believes that whether or not this is this greatest country in the world, we can still choose to be the greatest people in the world. He believes in people, he believes in his team, and he believes in doing what’s right no matter the cost."

Noble sentiments, my take on this idiot is different after watching him for a couple of weeks - he is breaking 8 different laws, he incites violence, he is causing untold misery (and financial losses) to tens of thousands of people in Mong Kok every day and I believe he is doing this for his 15 minutes of fame on Facebook I doubt very much that he is doing this for the people of Hong Kong.

Taken away for his own protection and about time

Rather menacing stick insect at the Peak, we do not have an abundance of wildlife so this is one of our more interesting creatures

At the Temple Street Night Market in Jordan the restaurants have pretty basic standards of hygiene - this is how they collect the empty plates after your meal, sometimes they hose them down sometimes they wash them, it should make you think twice about eating there.

In a rather odd symbiosis the J W Marriott Hotel and The Upper House Hotel occupy the same building in Admiralty on Hong Kong Island atop Pacific Place Mall

Cool dude on a cool motorbike just outside the Hong Kong Country Club on the south side of Hong Kong Island.

I do private walking tours around Hong Kong, I am on the streets every day and I have a somewhat interesting perspective of this wonderful city I have called my home for 39 years. My private walking tours are perfect for visitors who want a detailed overview of Hong Kong prior to exploring on their own and for people who are only here for a day or two who want to make the most of their limited time here.

Many clients book me for their first full day in Hong Kong, they get to see the best that Hong Kong has to offer + a crash course on our wonderful public transport system and then they go exploring for the rest of their stay armed with step by step instructions and recommendations from me....

I am available at very short notice, I get many last minute bookings and may well be available even if you arrive in Hong Kong without making plans! so please check my calendar, if it says I am free then I am available to do a tour!! Simply send me a message for a prompt reply

...oh, and if you book a tour then you are booking a tour with me, I do not employ other guides, so explore this great city with one of the best tour guides in Hong Kong.

All images taken with a Sony RX 1r camera - it produces amazing images!
