Hello Hong Kong | The Devil's car license plate on a Honda

A very old lady gets a ticket from a traffic cop, more of Temple Street by day and a Golden Orb spider catches a butterfly.

A bloody Honda!

A bloody Honda!

I surmise that the driver (sans horns) of this crappy car had no idea of the significance of these numbers, for him it suggests easy life, for us a rather beastly person... pity as well that this plate is not on a souped up Lamborghini.

Giving coppers a bad name

This Traffic Cop was giving this little old lady a ticket for something ( I walked past them and saw the ticket book) I am not sure what for but whatever it was he could have shown just a smidgen of compassion... a couple of people passing by gave the copper an earful which he simply ignored.

The Yaumatei end of Temple Street in the early morning is quite a fascinating place to explore.

Oh my, what a big web you have

Oh my, what a big web you have

A butterfly meets a sticky end on the giant web of the giant Golden Orb spider.. I admit I am now totally fascinated by these amazing creatures.. incidentally the red blob at the arse end of the spider is where the sticky "silk" comes out to make these huge webs.

Yesterday was the first blue sky I had seen in 12 days!

Big daddy turtle

Big daddy turtle

I am guessing that this is the luckiest turtle at the Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple - it is certainly the first time I have seen it, huge body but a very small circular shell and it was quite aggressive as well... I bounced a small coin off it for luck.. then it gave me a filthy look so I scarpered.

... and just what exactly is this?

... and just what exactly is this?

It looks like a prop from a horror movie... and it was just lying on the ground. yuk.
