July 30th 2013 - what a gloriously sunny day and what a view from the Peak, simply magnificent, crystal clear and stunning... oh and another Golden Orb spider at the Peak!
WOW!!!!!!!!
Every now and then we have a gloriously sunny day with reduced humidity and the result is this view from the Peak.... July 30th 2013 was such as day and I simply ran out of words to describe this amazing view... I have not retouched or altered the images by the way.
I need to also stress that these images do not do justice to the view, you have to see it with your own eyes, simply breathtaking!

I really need a decent camera with a decent zoom lens

The water colour is deceptive, normally it is a murky grey
I really want a great zoom lens!
When it is like this there are 50 "anoraks" at my spot hogging the space, they have really fancy camera's
Not bad considering I use a simply Olympic camera

I am on the verge of creating a Golden Orb spider tour.... look very closely, you can see a really huge spider and compare it's size to the smaller spiders to the left - we estimated the web to be over 6 feet long!!! Huzzah!
