Bentley's are very common in Hong Kong which comes as no surprise as it certainly conveys class and status, I love the Bentley, those lights and that grille.. wow! competition is looming though, the new Rolls Royce Wraith is coming to Hong Kong in 2014 which is the sportiest Rolls for many a year but I think I will stick with the Bentley!
L'Hotel Elan is located in Kwun Tong - this is the truly awful lobby

I am absolutely not a fan of boutique hotels, maybe it is because I am getting on a bit, who knows.. what I hate more than anything is that they do NOT provide adequate or comfortable seating in the lobby (even the Hotel Icon has awful lobby seating).
The lobby here is small but they provide only 2 stupidly designed chairs for guests or visitors - crazy.
Unless you have business in Kwun Tong I do not know why people would choose this hotel, it is in the middle of an industrial area and quite far away from town.. still it seems to do very well but they really should do something about seating in the lobby.

It is very hard to figure out how serious the problem is in Hong Kong as most Governments would prefer to sweep this particular problem under the carpet, I have seen an official number of 555 homeless people in Hong Kong bandied about!! simply not possible in a city of 7.1 million people.
