A pile of sand in the street, up close and personal at the Masterpiece / K11 Building and afternoon tea at the SkyMarriott Hotel - I don't think so....

I still have no idea what this queue is in aid of

One of life's little mysteries, 10.30am on Saturday morning and a queue of around 200+ people lined up at the junction of Mody Road and Nathan Road. I did not have time to investigate but this is the second time I have seen this queue in 2 weeks - I do not care to speculate on what is so compelling that you would queue like this but if I see the queue again I will investigate

One of my more utterly pointless images, a random pile of sand in the road and no clue as to why it was there.

I have to say that if someone else paid the rent I could live in this apartment block, ideally located on Mody Road in TST (actually it straddles 3 roads!) it is super convenient and has, I imagine some very nice views....

Not quite as good as the Peninsula Hotel High Tea

I have seen what's on offer for afternoon tea and it looks good and the price is very reasonable but honestly it is not a patch on tea at the Peninsula Hotel and then there is the small matter of the Hotel's location which is past the Airport!

I am a big, big fan of Porsche - in particular the Porsche 911 Turbo and the GT3, they are very popular in Hong Kong despite our somewhat crowded roads and yes, we do have some long straight roads if you know where to look.

As seen in Elements Shopping Mall in ICC, Kowloon West and at a guess it was some sort of promotion for shoes (it was not obvious!)

Here's an image you do not want swirling around in your mind, my underwear flapping in the wind! Cheung Chau Island is a good place to get these sorts of images.

Generally I do not cover Museums on my tours as you can easily do these on your own and they are perfect for rainy days.. the Space Museum is pretty decent and is located over the road from the Peninsula Hotel in TST, Kowloon
