Hong Kong Tours | Temple Street in Hong Kong during the day

The 5 dogs in a pram that should have been walking!, The Shamrock Hotel - a minor legend in Hong Kong and the power plant out in Tuen Mun

Just a normal road really

Just a normal road really

The Temple Street Night Market is a bit of a legend in Hong Kong, it is cheesy and touristy and all that but with a bit of effort you can find some very strange things going on... anyway, this is what it looks like during the day before the stalls go up, it is actually a regular road and the vast majority of stalls by law have to be taken down and reassembled every day.

Totally ridiculous!

Totally ridiculous!

5 dogs in a pram going for a walk around the Peak, except they weren't walking they enjoyed the ride! not the dogs fault really

A minor legend, the old and great Shamrock Hotel

A minor legend, the old and great Shamrock Hotel

The Hotel opened in January 1952 so by my reckoning this makes it our 2nd oldest Hotel still in operation after the Peninsula Hotel and it has been through some interesting times - make your own mind up when you review the Hotel, the rooms are small but hey, the location is brilliant!

The Tuen Mun Power Station

The Tuen Mun Power Station

I took this photo from within the train station at Asia World Expo out past the airport, one of those times I wished I had a really great zoom lens!!

The orange building in Yaumatei

The orange building in Yaumatei

Located at the junction of Nathan Road and Gascoigne Road in Yaumatei in Kowloon, this orange building is kind of hard to miss and there are lots of photo opportunities, it is 2 minutes walk from the Jade Market

Thai Airways cabin crew

Thai Airways cabin crew

I guess the Thai Airways cabin crew are billeted in the Sky Marriott Hotel just past the airport, despite the early hour they were immaculately coiffured and quite chipper

A typical Cheung Chau sight

A typical Cheung Chau sight

I have been going to Cheung Chau since 1972 and is my favourite of the outlying islands, it is so colourful with many, many photo opportunities

At least he is not wearing spandex

At least he is not wearing spandex

Frankly you have to mad to ride a bike in our traffic but these delivery guys seems to have no issues at all.... unlike the weekend cyclists here all kitted out in fluorescent spandex and riding US$20,000 carbon bikes that weigh 0.5kg!

One of my favourite places in Hong Kong

One of my favourite places in Hong Kong

One of the poorer neighbourhoods in Hong Kong, it is home to the Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple, the Fat Jong Buddhist Temple and is a great place to take photo's of Lion Rock... and there is a Starbucks 5 minutes walk from the Station
