Hong Kong Tours | Another lovely Hong Kong Spider

I have still NOT been to Disneyland in Hong Kong - but am getting closer and closer, a wolf like dog at the Peak and Kowloon Mosque on Nathan Road

... and what an amazing web

... and what an amazing web

I came across another beautiful non Golden Orb spider yesterday, in fact I passed within an inch of it without realising it... perhaps I am in a minority of one here but I get terribly excited about these spiders, what I find strange is when my blog posts featuring spiders are posted to facebook I get 2 likes yet anyone posting an image of a meal they are eating gets 5,000 likes!

I imagine the vast majority of Hong Kong's population have no idea these gorgeous creatures exist... now when I find one I point it out to anyone walking past and quite a few people get worked up ( I haven't decided out of pleasure or fear yet )

I think this one is quite amazing, if you look closely at the "face" of the spider there is a smiley face design!! and look at that intricate web. WOW!!!

.... Lugard Road at the Peak, home to the Golden Orb Spider + other species ... huzzah for 8 legged freaks!

This is the closest I have been to Disneyland Hong Kong, this is not a reflection on Disneyland, I am sure it is an amazing place, it just isn't for me.

Looks like a wolf to me

Looks like a wolf to me

I am not really a dog person but this wolf like dog was almost as attractive as it's owner, the dog laying down seemed to realise that the really big wolf/dog could probably have it for breakfast so it gave up the fight.... I am not so sure the dogs appreciated being outside in 33C heat and 90% humidity.

Located on Nathan Road next to Kowloon Park it is a lovely building, very photogenic

Not quite as exciting as the Golden Orb spider

I am now getting quite adept at taking photo's of butterflies

Tsuen Wan MTR Station

Tsuen Wan MTR Station

End of the line on the red line, actually most visitors become aware of Tsuen Wan when they visit Hong Kong but never go there, the red line of our MTR System is Central to Tsuen Wan and is probably the most used line on the system.. unless you live in Tsuen Wan then there is not much reason to go...

so...  The Nina Tower + Hotel & Convention Centre, the Yan Chai Hospital, a couple of nice parks, the truly awful Panda Hotel and a place where normal folk live... personally I think it is an interesting place to visit if you have some spare time
