A giant stick insect terrorises people at the Peak, a rather moving war grave and an unusual car number plate
I am a huge fan of Aston Martin cars but I was somewhat shocked when I came across this vehicle yesterday in the Island Shangri-la Hotel car park... this is the Aston Martin Cygnet (this is my first sighting of this car) and for the life of me I cannot understand why Aston Martin would risk it's sterling reputation by badging this pile of you know what.
This car has been "out" since 2011 and is a Japanese design... sacrilege I say, sacrilege, this is even worse than the pink Ferrari I came across.
We all freaked when we saw this giant stick insect, it was huge and at first I thought it was a golden orb spider.. every day is an adventure at the Peak!
If you visit St. Johns Cathedral in Hong Kong be sure to stop by the war grave in the grounds and pay your respects.
This Rolls Royce Phantom caused quite a stir whilst parked outside the Peak Tram Terminal, I just love the number plate, and no, this is not how I ferry my clients around Hong Kong .... it is more likely to be a double decker bus!
Causeway Bay used to be full of huge Japanese Department Stores (Daimaru was the most famous) these days only Sogo is flying the flag.. it is still a good place to shop but like most retailers these days they now pander to the Mainland Chinese Tourists (get it!)
The Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple is moody and atmospheric.. this shot was taken from behind the lucky Nine Dragon Wall.
