Located on Hollywood Road on the Island, very crowded, very smoky and somewhat iconic!
This one image defines the Man Mo Temple
Honestly, I am not a fan of the Man Mo Temple for the very simple reason that it is very small and because it is on the coach tour route it can get very crowded.. all day, every day! I do go once a year just before Chinese New Year when local people make their yearly pilgrimage and the whole atmosphere changes.
I cannot deny that you can get some fantastic images at the Temple, it is famous for it's incense coils so dramatic images are there for the taking.
It is not an easy place to get to (located on Hollywood Road on Hong Kong Island) but if you want colourful images and a quick peek into local culture then this is a great place to go.
The Man Mo Temple is a visual thing, so no text to go with this set of images.
It is a small Temple
If black and white imagery is your thing then this is a great place to visit
Generally this Temple is never really filled with local folk, Chinese New Year is a different matter
The iconic incense coils
You can also burn regular incense
Ornate lanterns are everywhere
Let's hope the God's can hear you
The surrounding neighbourhood is worth exploring as well
I fancy one of these pots for my living room
