For some reason many buildings in Hong Kong do NOT have central airconditioning which means there is always an ugly patchwork of individual units, still it makes for interesting images! I do like this one
Jardine House in Central is one of most celebrated and famous buildings, finished in 1973 it still looks good (mainly due to newish external cladding) - it is always interesting to look in and see all those bankers and lawyers hard at work as night falls!
Public Housing Estates offer up plenty of interesting images.. this is Lok Fu Public Housing Estate one of the older estates in Hong Kong
The same comments apply to this very large Public Housing Estate on Tsing Yi Island
Going upmarket a little, this is Bellagio a large Private Housing Estate in Sham Tseng, I know people who live on the 66th Floor in one of these blocks! apartment sizes range from 800sqft to 1,200sqft
...and a few hundred yards away from Bellagio is a somewhat older Private Housing Estate
An older apartment block on one of our more famous roads in Kowloon, Waterloo Road is full of interesting older buildings.
The Mira Hotel and Shopping Arcade on Nathan Road in Kowloon is a prime example of a fairly standard curtain wall building.
There are still some classic 1970's buildings in TST, Kowloon, this one is at the junction of Peking Road and Hankow Road, it is probably worth a small fortune now
The Upper House Hotel shares the building housing the J W Marriott Hotel and quite a splendid building it is.
