Hong Kong is one of the safest cities in the world and that's a fact and that is simply because we have one of the finest Police Force's in the world.
I have been out every day in amongst the student protests and I have been staggered by the level of abuse hurled at our Policeman who are simply doing their job. Hong Kong has always had a rule of law and quite simply, these student protesters have broken the law and are still breaking the law and the Police are showing admirable restraint in dealing with these immature kids who are disorganised and spit the dummy at every turn oh and by the way are causing major damage to Hong Kong for a cause that they simply cannot win.
Essentially if you oppose the students you are either a Government stooge or a Communist sympathizer! they have only one position and that is their's, they get furious if you do not agree with them.
... and our Press should print in full Article 45 of our basic law which is very clear on Democracy in Hong Kong and was set in stone in 1990.
No other civilised country in the world would tolerate these illegal protests nor would their Police tolerate the abuse that our Police Force has been subjected to.
It is time the rule of law was re-established in Hong Kong lest we descend into anarchy.,
