Hong Kong Tours | A chicken dies at a Hong Kong Street Market

At least they use a fly trap to catch flies, more images from Peak Road and another magnificent house at Deep Water Bay.

I normally stay well away from live chicken stalls but I had a butcher as a client so we paid a visit to the wet / street markets in Wanchai and there we witnessed the death of a chicken - all I can say is that I much prefer to buy pre - packaged prime cut chicken breast from a supermarket. fascinating though.... (and quick to minimise the suffering of the chicken)

nice of them to use a fly trap

The only saving grace is that at least the flies are not on the meat!

Peak Road is full of surprises - from magnificent views to colonial fire stations and old and famous gardens... it is worth walking up (and the danger that, that entails!)

Amazing.
