Some interesting buildings in North Point, the "market" at Jardine Crescent in Causeway Bay and line dancing on Chater Road on a Sunday
It has been years since I have seen rats at Chungking Mansions in TST, Kowloon and the reason is simple, they eat the curry on offer and die.
This is just one example of a vomit covered shutter on the ground floor of said place, it looks like about 20 years of accumulation and is clear evidence of the quality of the food available inside Chungking Mansions.
You have been warned.
I am getting to like taking shots of buildings up close, the building that is white / blue is the Hong Kong Funeral Home...
Jardine's Bazaar is not the biggest market in Hong Kong but I guess it is interesting if you are a lady. It is located at Jardine's Crescent in Causeway Bay about 1 minutes walk from the Apple Store... it is always impossibly crowded in this area.
Synchronized is a bit of a stretch but these maids get 8/10 for effort and for keeping people amused.. you can see this most Sunday's on Chater Road in Central District on the Island at the back of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Yahoo.
....and speaking of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, at their coffee shop there are some simply magnificent chocolate creations on display, some are done by a famous French Chef and others by Bob. Bravo Bob.
....and 5 minutes from the Mandarin via the connecting bridges is the Cafe Landmark where the cream of Hong Kong Society go to be seen and splurge ever so slightly.
Actually this is a pretty decent place for food, it is not overly expensive and you may bump into someone famous.. it is popular and queues are common.
