The female fag inspector, ask me about Che Guevara's hands and a typical "client" at McDonalds in Hong Kong
This is how I remember my younger brother Tim, Tim passed away on June 16th 2001 at the age of 33 from a heart attack, Tim loved Hong Kong and spent virtually his entire life here and boy did he enjoy life.
We miss our Tim.
In English culture a fag is a cigarette so I make no apologies for the headline.... I have to say that running across this lovely young creature is as likely as finding a family of aliens doing their ablutions in your bathroom.
Just so we are clear, the typical female "fag" inspector is my age, dumpy with the disposition and looks of a bad tempered British Bulldog - you have been warned should you desire to light up in the wrong place.
Seeing this box in a very fancy shop reminded me of a cracking story told to me by a client who had recently retired from a shadowy US Government Agency, it involves the Revolutionary Che Guevara, his mate Fidel Castro and the sinister case of his missing hands. That's all I am allowed to say.!
It never ceases to amaze me how McDonald's prospers in every market it enters, it is very, very popular in Hong Kong and finding a seat in any of their restaurants is nigh on impossible.
Normally butterflies bugger off when they see me, not this one and what a pretty one.
One of my favourite bit's of road in Hong Kong, Queens Road Central at the back of HSBC Headquarters
That's right, there is no 4th floor in Chater House in Central District, 4 means death so heaven forbid you would tempt fate, in this instance it seems a bit silly but it is so Hong Kong and they do the numbering so stylishly.
A typical service at the Temple, notice the legions of Taoist Priests. Very proper, very sombre
I do personal walking tours around Hong Kong, I am on the streets every day and I have a somewhat interesting perspective of this wonderful city I have called my home for 37 years. My private walking tours are perfect for visitors who want a detailed overview of Hong Kong prior to exploring on their own and for people who are only here for a day or two who want to make the most of their limited time here.
Many clients book me for their first full day in Hong Kong, they get to see the best that Hong Kong has to offer + a crash course on our wonderful public transport system and then they go exploring for the rest of their stay armed with step by step instructions and recommendations from me....
...oh, and if you book a tour then you are booking a tour with me, I do not employ other guides.
