The Port area in Kwai Chung, Hong Kong, a spectacular waterfall view and some interesting buildings on Nathan Road, Kowloon
Simply glorious and a fitting remembrance to the War dead, the grounds around the Cenotaph are beautiful. Located in Statue Square in Central District on Hong Kong Island you should pay a visit... The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is in the background and you should go to the Chocolate shop on the first floor, the chocolates are exquisite as are the fabulous chocolate displays.
It is not easy getting a decent picture of the Kwai Chung Container Port, I got this from upstairs on the bus so the quality image is not great, our port is still the 3rd largest in the world today, this is just one small part of it.
Hong Kong Park which straddles Admiralty and Central Districts on Hong Kong Island is a super place to visit and I managed to get a decent waterfall view - The Bank of China is in the background.
Opposite the Eaton Hotel on Nathan Road you can get this rather interesting shot, orange is becoming a popular colour for old buildings.
Murray House is one of our old Government Buildings and it is either on Garden Road or Cotton Tree Drive depending on whether you are going up or down... a tender went out this week to convert this building into a Hotel, should be interesting as it is in a great location, we may see the Hotel in about 10 years (if we are lucky)
