As a Hong Kong Private Tour Guide I offer personal tours of Hong Kong catering to individuals or small groups (2 - 6 people, more by negotiation), with most tours lasting around 4 - 8 hours (longer by negotiation, such as 10 or 12 hours) and kids are always welcome!

Most tourists arrive in Hong Kong with some idea of what they want to do or visit during their stay in Hong Kong which is helpful. If you let me know what your plans are prior to, or after your arrival, I will customise a tour just for you - or if you like, you can take one of my suggested tours but to be honest, some of the most interesting tours are ones where we get on a bus and get off in an unexpected place, this can sometimes be quite memorable with stunning photographs to prove it.
I can do a Hong Kong Tour to cater for your particular needs, so if you are a family with two teenagers, here on honeymoon, with a group of friends or colleagues or you are a large group looking for a memorable shore excursion then I can cater for all.
Flexibility is paramount, you may get tired of walking, inclement weather may cause a change of plans - this is not a problem, you are in charge and plans can be changed at a moments notice.

What I don't do:
A standard daytime coach tour
✘ Tour buses with 30 other tourists wearing silly badges / stickers / hats / track suits or the time honoured tradition of waving flags and/or whistle blowing!
✘ Fixed starting time with a strict inflexible tour timetable to follow;
✘ A tour guide offering a running commentary on the bus via a microphone in varying degrees of “fluent” English or "canned" commentary via headphones in your language;
✘ ...and the really big turn off, the stop off’s at jewellery shops or the like where you are hassled and cajoled into buying unwanted items which can far exceed the cost of the actual coach tour;
✘ Hard sell. I have no affiliation with any establishment, but I am happy to give advice on any purchase you wish to make based on living in Hong Kong for well over 40 years
