My 5 favourite cars with the roof off aka Convertibles, Cabriolets etc.
Call them what you want, convertibles, cabriolets, spyders, cars with the roof off are quite popular in Hong Kong.
I think these cars look fabulous with the roof off | down but honestly, when the (I am guessing) canvas roof is up the car can look quite dreadful particularly the Rolls Royce’s and Bentley’s, some of the sports car models have a system where you can simply remove a good portion of the metal roof which works quite nicely.
The company that really pushes convertibles is of course Mini, part of the BMW family, somehow no roof on a Mini works out very nicely and for some reason I see a lot of older model BMW’s with the roof off, very popular with the resident expat community.
