An amazing Rolls Royce Dawn at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Hong Kong Island View comparison 1974 v 2017, Breakfast on the Verandah in the Peninsula Hotel is not too shabby either!, the "Charlie Watts" like busker in Stanley, Ironman in the Sony Store and a lime green Lamborghini Huracan also at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Afternoon Tea in the Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong, what can I say, absolutely glorious, I need no excuse at all to indulge in this time honoured tradition... one little tip, on the scones, you spread the jam first and then put the cream on top. It is also surprisingly affordable US$85 for 2 people!! I am grateful to Craig and Deb for sponsoring my visit, thanks guys!

Oh Lordy, the new Rolls Royce Dawn and what a simply stunning car, love the number plate as well, it is a very lucky number is 1688... I like visiting the Ritz Carlton Hotel.. always lots of lovely cars parked there and the view from the lobby on the 103rd floor is stunning.

Prior to having Afternoon Tea in the Peninsula I did actually have the absolutely fabulous buffet breakfast in the Verandah on the 1st floor of the Peninsula, golly gosh.. it was fabulous, it has to be one of the best breakfast places in Hong Kong and thanks again to Craig and Deb for indulging me and to the Peninsula staff for graciously hosting a scruffy bugger like me.

I could be kind and say that this crusty old codger is a legend in Hong Kong but he is not, I would cheerfully pay him to leave the area, he is that bad. He reminds me of Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones who I am sure died and was stuffed about 20 years ago.

This chap has played at Stanley at the weekend for a long time and can be seen during the week on the bridge leading to the Star Ferry in Central alternating between cover versions of Elvis and the Shadows, in English.

I am always in the Sony store in Ocean Centre checking out stuff and I do love this Ironman model that was on display, very cool.

Oh my, stick that in your pipe and smoke it.... a stupendous lime green Lamborghini Huracan parked outside the awesome Ritz Carlton Hotel..... I was drooling for a while

Well, there is the Chinese version of me, I admit to having a laugh when I saw this image... the current "thing" in Hong Kong is for Alpha Males (and not so Alpha Males) to suit up in stupid spandex, get on their US$10,000 bike and look really dumb when a Lamborghini Huracan roars past.. I like the guy with the purple bag, fat like me and not a cm of spandex in sight and a real fan of fancy cars.

It is a little odd, I have never been a fan of Jaguar and I can't put my finger on it, they make perfectly fine and pleasant cars but they to me have always lacked something.. put it another way I would rather have a Maserati than the Jaguar in the image.......

Oh my golly gosh, the simply amazing Pagani Hypercar, hand made in Italy
