Hong Kong Heritage Tour | Painting our post boxes on the streets

The Central Library in Causeway Bay, St. Johns Cathedral is well worth a visit and more stares from bikers!

An artist at work

I often wonder about the mindset of people here that work for our Government.. I mean our Post Boxes used to be a wonderful shade of red and I fully understood the need to change the color after 1997 (to remove the colonial implications) but I wonder how they managed to come up with this truly awful colour scheme?

I watched this chap at work for a few minutes and I have to say he took his job very seriously which was nice.

It makes you wonder why if they changed the colonial red colour scheme then why did they just not throw out the old postboxes because as you can see the Crown logo is still visible! - true Government logic.

The architect of this Government Building must have been smoking banana skin or something - this is the Central Library in Causeway Bay and I have to say that it just odd.

The wonderful interior of St. John's Cathedral

I love it when I get stared at!

Instantly reminded me of "Shep" the dog from the TV Series Blue Peter in England in the 1970's and the catch phrase "get down Shep"

The iconic Hopewell Centre that dominates Wanchai district.

The name is Bond, James Bond - shame about the awful matte paint job on this lovely Aston Martin
